The Amagob project started in 2006 when my envy of just getting free stuff turned to learning why they are free stuffs and actually making something useful out of it. So for all the open source and free apps I’ve used, GPL and copyleft stuffs.. this is my payback..!!!

As an amateur, I’ve learnt HTML, MySQL, PHP and some javascripts. I’ve also downloaded quite a few of those scripts which were made useful in writing my programs.. I’ll be looking forward to put all these stuffs on the blog so that other people like you (Internet users) can benefit too..

Going with web based programming in 2006 was an evident choice over VB or C++ for 2 simple reasons,

1. Accessibility – We always want our programs to be available, inhouse or through the internet.
2. Lightweight – Well designed web pages can load rapidly, generally 80% of coding goes into how to make the pages look good and only 20% is actually communicating the purpose or running the apps. Now with AJAX, my pages are really more neat and much easy to use.
